post nogitsune, stiles tries to heal tries to do better, feel better, be better, but he can’t. it all feels like not enough, and that’s all he’s ever been, not enough, all his life summed up by that fact. not enough for his dad to not sink into the grief and the bottles of alcohol after his mother’s death, not enough for the girl he’s loved all his life, not enough for his best friend, his brother, to care about him when he got hurt, when he needed help, not enough to resist the nogitsune when it set its sight onto him, when it unmade him and remade him anew better wrong, not enough to not be a murderer, not enough to fix himself. 

and he feels like he’s drowning, like he’s always been drowning, but now finally he has lost his lifeboat, his identity his self unmade among dirty bandages and a foxlike smirk, the sound of darkness inside his own head, he feels half gone, incomplete, unbalanced, and he knows it’s the fox, the fox is gone, has left, and he is all that there is now, fox boy human boy not enough boy, stiles. 

he can feel the stark emptiness of where the nogitsune used to be, the place in his soul where it made itself a place to live, to claw into, to become one with him, because they were stiles and nogitsune, they were fox and boy, were two and then they were one, they were complete. 

he wonders if this is how peter felt after the fire, during it, adrift, alone, a physical ache of loss, losing more and more of himself with each space left unoccupied, each place in his soul that were forcefully vacated, if he still feels it like a bleeding wound, feels it like stiles feels the tears in his soul, left by a fox’s claws gripping with all it’s had to all that he had left, a human, a boy, a not enough stiles, if he feels the same descent into madness still, if he left it behind when he came back from the dead or if he lets it fill him everyday just to get through it, it aches and aches and aches, and that is all that stiles has left, an ache in his soul, the madness that keeps on growing each day he keeps on being alone in his head, with no fox to close the gaping wound that is his absence, each day without yipping laughter ringing through his head, no shadows to make a home out of, no thousands of years of not-lived through memories of times gone past. 

stiles has never been enough, he knows this, he does, because if he was enough he would not be traipsing through the woods at night, would not have escaped from his home in the mid of the night, would not be looking for a tree stump best left forgotten, would not bleed himself above it, would not wish and wish and wish and will for shadows and madness and the completeness of being one with another being. would not tug and pull and call down the only vestiges of ancient power left in his veins, left there by chaos incarnate. 

is stiles was enough he would not do any of that, he would force himself to forget and ignore the ache inside his bones. if only stiles was enough. 

but stiles has never been enough. 

so he bleeds and he wishes and wills and pulls and calls and screams down the only remnant of chaos inside him,

and for once in his life, stiles is enough, and stiles is complete. 

qunctuation:

All I want is a main character to be gay.

I don’t want one of the ‘main’ side characters within the show, I want the actual main character in which the entire show revolves around.

I don’t want the entire show to be about them being gay, I want the show to be about something entirely different. And maybe in season 2 they meet this cute other character and they fall in love, and it’s just a little side-on thing which isn’t really important to the story other than they’re happy.

I don’t want them to be gay entirely for the shock factor, or some cheap sex scene. I want cute PG gay couple who are healthy and happy.

I don’t want it suggested that they’re together in some cryptic frendship/relationship way. I want 100% undenialable gayness. I don’t want queer baiting either.

And I want them both to stay alive.

Is that too much to ask for?

• one of the guardians makes some kind of condescending remark re: tony’s tech vs their level of advanced alien tech

Wanda’s bad deeds are never addressed and she just goes trough the movie being the same shitty person that she’s.

Steve doesn’t apologise to Tony and acts like a self righteous Holier than Thou thinking that the shitty letter was enough.

I want to laugh, and then I want to cry at all of these. 

Here are mine: Tony tossing back painkillers because he’s in so much pain, and he’s so exhausted. 

Tony using BARF to try and process his overwhelming grief and anger, but he still ends up fighting nightmares every night. 

Someone calls Tony a futurist sarcastically and/or mockingly. 

Someone accuses Tony of putting his ego above everything else. 

Tony misses Jarvis. 

Rhodey continues being his amazing self, and wants to fight all of Team Cap for Tony (leave me in denial land). 

I’M STILL IN DENIAL. JUST LET ME FANTASIZE THAT FOR ONCE TONY WILL NOT BE THE PUNCHING BAG OR BUTT OF THE JOKE TT_TT

And on one of the days I was at the hospital, I noticed quite a fair number of Iron Man art on the doors & walls of one of the specialist clinics. And it reminded me of Invincible Iron Man #4 so that’s why I drew this! :) Seems like something Tony Stark would do haha.

Frankly?  I think Vision is full of it.  They’re in or near a small town in upstate New York where Stark Industries probably was the major employer for decades, employing hundreds of people and creating thousands of jobs.  Those jobs probably left for California when the facility was mothballed, and having the Avengers there has brought back the good times of full employment and actual money for the townspeople.  Wanda, young and pretty and doing her best to adjust to a new country and a new life, is likely a favorite at the local grocery store and whatever clothing stores are there.  The idea that she’d be feared going to the 7-11 or Walgreen’s or King Cullen is ludicrous, and it shows very clearly that it’s Vision who hasn’t gotten out all that much.

…you know given the grotesque detailed vision of his greatest fears coming true that led him into inescapable nightmarish paranoia I’m pretty much eternally gonna give Tony the privilege of over-cautiousness regarding Wanda fucking Maximoff. Sorry not sorry.

This is the problem with the MCU (and fans). Pretty little Wanda with her flowy skirts and thigh highs. Oh no, a pretty little white girl could never do anything wrong. 

Yetttt let’s take a look at her history, shall we?

• joined a NAZI ORGANIZATION
  
• willingly participated in human experiments in order for the Nazi organization to gain more power by using stolen alien technology
  
• hey, she had a pretty good handle on her powers in AOU. I wonder who that was tested on? I’m sure the participants were absolutely willing and consenting
  
• mentally mindfucked almost all of the Avengers
  
• set Bruce on a destructive (and self-destructive) hulking rampage on an innocent civilian population (”I want the big one”)
  
• by violating his mind, caused Tony to work on a preemptive peace keeping measure which turned into Ultron
  
• teamed up with Ultron after the Nazi organization fell
  
• only switched sides when she realized that Ultron wanted to destroy the world, killing her and her brother in the process
  
• has yet to show any kind of remorse or regret for her decisions
  
• although I do not blame her for this, she blew a fucking building up
  
• dropped tons of cars on Tony while destroying an airport
  
• hurled a very non-super powered and non-armored Natasha Romanoff into unyielding metal objects (which would have broken every bone in her body, let’s be real)
  

Buttt nnooooo, sweet, young, pretty Wanda would never do anything wrong!

Tony and Vision were trying to protect Wanda. “They don’t give visas to weapons of mass destruction!” and guess were she ended up? In prison. In a prison in the middle of the fucking ocean. In a fucking straight jacket.

Okay, I can’t even look at the Wanda thing right now because I’m repeating myself ad nauseam so I’m going to table that for now and look at the rest of that first comment. 

Stark Industries MIGHT have been a major employer of the area when the facility was first in use. I saw might because it depends on what they did there and what kind of clearance was needed to be there. For the sake of argument, saw it was a big employer. Okay - how does reopening it as an Avengers facility help the town? 

Because we only see a brief glimpse of non-Avenger people there at the end of AoU and they were all in some kind of sweatsuit uniform and running. Very military like. At that point the Avengers knew SHIELD was still kicking so it’s very much in the realm of possibility that they were SHIELD agents. So the place is probably staffed by either SHIELD or SI employees. People tend not to hire locals to work at super top secret facilities - NDA’s only do so much and no one wants anyone around who can be blackmailed with their family’s safety into taking something in or out of a secure compound. Highly doubt locals were employed at the facility.

That said the facility being used could boost the local gas stations, groceries, diners, etc. This would create some local jobs but not enough for hundreds of people and thousands of jobs worth that was suggested. So no, the Avengers being there would NOT bring “back the good times of full employment and actual money for the townspeople.” The townspeople might in fact be a bit upset that the jobs creates were filled by out of towners who had the necessary clearance and training to work there. Depends on how awed by the Avengers they are. 

Wanda may have been a favorite at the local grocery store, but only because she’s an Avenger. Maybe a few starry eyed teenage boys cared about the “young and pretty” but that’d be about it. Do you really think anyone who has a lick of sense cared about how young and pretty she is after word came out that she was involved in deaths of civilians in Lagos? After she refuses to sign the Accords?

How safe would YOU feel you and your family are when someone lives by you has powers you can’t understand or defend against when they will not agree to be regulated and held accountable to law enforcement? I tell you that I wouldn’t feel safe knowing someone who just moved in and has no ties to the community being able to do as they pleased even without powers factored in. Add in her powers and yeah, it’s easy to see why people may be scared of her. 

The line that she can take care of herself just shows how shockingly ignorant she is of the political and legal ramifications of her actions. People want to know that if someone causes death and destruction they’ll be held accountable for their actions (hello manslaughter charges - just in case you want to say she didn’t intend it) and it’s totally understandable that no legal consequences forthcoming would unease a lot of people. Thoughtless rather than malicious actions that destroy property and lives are still actions that destroy property and lives and still a crime. The fact Wanda doesn’t see and makes it about her being inconvenienced is mind boggling, terrifying, and infuriating. 

How are the townspeople supposed to feel safe knowing that this foreigner with no family or friends in the community can do as they please and oops oh well if people lose their homes, livelihoods, or lives?  How are they supposed to know it won’t happen there and to them? THAT’S why people are afraid and THAT’S why Stark and Vision were trying to keep on the compound until things could be figured out. 

Not to mention - HOW was she planning on taking care of herself? If a frightened and/or angry towns-person IDK, threw a rock at her or something HOW was she going to take care of herself? Use her powers? On a civilian who is already frightened of her? In public? Thus justifying their fear and causing MORE people to become afraid? That’s what Stark is afraid of. That’s why he had her confined until he could soothe things over.

Vision is very much more aware of the situation and Wanda would have done well to listen to him instead of assume things.
